The ASUS introduced Zenfone Max , his new smart battery ‘giant’, at an event in India, on Thursday (06). The phone will have 5000 mAh battery which can even be used as a charging bank to charge other handsets. By comparison, ZenFone 2 , considered top of the line, has 3,000 mAh and Zenfone 6 , 3,300.
Battery apart, the Zenfone Max has intermediate settings. The phone will have 13 megapixel camera with laser autofocus and dual LED flash. The front camera for selfies is 5 megapixels. The screen will be 5.5 inches, protected by Gorilla Glass 4.
The processor will be the mid-performance Snapdragon 410, which ensures the battery lasts even longer. Of RAM, the device will only have 2 GB. Other information about the device, such as screen resolution, has not yet been released by the manufacturer.
The smartphone will be launched first in East countries in October. By then, more information about the specs of the device, besides the prices, should be revealed.
